Hi Roger, I'm not sure if you can change the maximum velocity using the calibration screen. That's pretty much just for pid tuning. It may be a bug if it lets you change a value that it can't save. But, you can edit the max velocity for an axis in the ini file. For this, though, your description "using gedit" is not enough information to guess what is going wrong. Maximum velocity for Z is in the ini file, section [AXIS_2], MAX_VELOCITY. If this isn't the answer you need (and I bet it might not be), please give more information. I think a good pattern to follow for help over email is: describe exactly what you did, describe exactly what you saw as a result, describe how this is different from what you expect.
