Upon restarting Linux Ubuntu. From memory and note that I'm new to
Linux.. I selected places -> Home folder -> emc2 -> configs -> m5i20 ->
m5i20.ini . Went to axis 0, axis 1, and axis 2 and set them all to
Maximum Velocity of 5 inches per sec. Then I saved it, fine so far. I
then started EMC2 and selected the m5i20 configuration. Anytime I try a
move or jog over 60 ipm, it kicks out following error. When I look at
the calibration screen on AXIS, maximum velocities are as follows, axis
0 = 5, axis 1 = 1, and axis 2 = 1.  Axis 0 took but 1 and 2 somehow set
themselves to 1. In calibration screen, I set axis 1 and 2 max velocity
to 5, selected "TEST", it took, selected "OK", selected "SAVE TO FILE".
Closed calibration, tried to jog, axis 2 fault again, opened up
Calibrate and Axis 1 and 2 were back at a maximum velocity of 1.

What setting determines the velocity of a rapid move? My system is
supposed to be capable of 240ipm but I'd like to set it to 60ipm for now
to get it to stop kicking out. I have changed maximum output from 1 to 5
and minimum ferror to 0.2, it now runs the lathe pawn program without
faulting but I can't jog very fast and maximum velocity still changes
itself back to 1.0 for axis 1 and 2, axis 0 lets me change it and works
as expected.

This may be a hint, I attempted to set my X and Z axis as 0 and 1, but
for tuning, I have to change axis 2 parameters, even though the analog
output and encoder feedback are connected to axis 1 for Z.

Thanks again!
