This was a Anilam LatheMate with a dead Crusader M L controller.  The X 
and Y had 625 ppr encoders and 5mm pitch ball screws, giving me 12700 
counts per inch.  I'm not sure how many counts the spindle encoder has 
until I get it connected and read a few revolutions.  I would like to 
use the 3rd or 4th Mesa encoder inputs for the spindle but I'm not sure 
if that's compatible with what EMC needs for lathe threading.
