Just to make this clear: He never mentioned that there might be a conflict between those two licenses. He just asked me to comply with the GPL by providing the source code together with any binary version i put on my web site. I did that immediately but still wanted to clean the source code up and in the progress of doing so i noticed that i just cannot comply to the GPL as i cannot put xfig under GPL (the xfig license does not allow me to remove/restrict its license) or put Chris code under the xfig license (the GPL does not allow me to put them under xfig license).
