When I want to run Windows software on a Linux box I use Qemu, not Wine,
because there are quite a few Windows apps that don't work in Wine.
Check the Application Database at <http://appdb.winehq.org/> to see if
your app is supported.

I'm not saying "dont try Wine", but if Wine doesnt work for your app,
give Qemu a try.  <http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/>

The down sides with Qemu is that you need a Windows install CD to install
on the virtual machine, and it's a bit slower than native.
