Fantastic...The new version of classic ladder has the modbus option in the config. But the version with EMC 2.1.7 does not have this. This could open up alot of I/O for me for a solid operators station. Can the classic ladder in EMC be upgraded? If you could check the inputs in classic ladder I could turn the pushbutton lights on without tieing up I/O points on my Motenc card. I would like to save these for machine critical functions like overtravel switches and home switches. If the status of these inputs could sent to emc then I could use them to switch modes etc.....
