It does have a barrel shifter and mulitplier, though.
That certainly is a big negative factor in the idea of porting even a major chunk of EMC2 to the ARM7. But, my little project for a parallel port replacement, if I can ever make it work, would not need any floating point, it is just moving bytes of I/O back and forth.
