Hi Svenne

Oh. I wasn't thinking of defining the quality of the product by the
difficulty getting around the site. That comment was just waiting and
waiting at my end of the dialup drip feed.

The motors look great at 1800+ ounce inch. This system is tough enough
for some pretty good sized machines by benchtop/Bridgeport standards.
The drives seem good for the money.

One issue is location. If this is for delivery in the EU I'd say it's
probably as close as you get after you add VAT and shipping to something
from further away.

An equivalent setup in the USA could look something like this.

3 - KL34H2160-62-8A motors $537.00
3 - KL-8056 drives $276.00
1 - KL- 7212 power supply $149.00
1 - PMDX-122 active breakout $81.00

Total $1043.00

I'm not even going to guess at the exchange rate but will leave that to
the interested reader. The kit listed a bit over 500 pounds for cost so
they look pretty close.

Now it would be possible to save a bit on the drives and still meet the
requirements of these motors. The power supply is way overkill but
ready to go. (Both Gene and I would build the power supply but wouldn't
require someone else to do that.)

Notice that I added an active breakout board to get round the 5 volt
logic and also to provide a charge pump to which I can add external
wiring for the axis enables, real estop and such.
