I am not clear on what you are trying to describe. Can you can recall
the procedure you used to create your problem? The home position should
not limit normal axis movement, unless your home is at one of the
limits. When you mention manually aligning the table, do you mean by
moving the axis with your hand or by using EMC to jog the axis? If the
the limits override is not available, it may be due to your
configuration file not calling out limit switches that can be
overridden. A description of your machine and a link to your
configuration files would be good.
