I looked over all of the info all of you recommended and based on what
you have shown me I think I can make this work! Thank you very much.
Looking at the WIKI it says to use lspci -v to find the address of my
parallel port. I have a Dell Diminsion 8200 I am working with with an on
board port and it is not showing it. is this an issue? I assume it is
because the port is not on the PCI bus. I think that it is 0378 in the
bios so I guess this is what I use in my HAL file.
