Yesterday I was milling a rudder for a dory, using the jog controls of AXIS (V 2.2.6) just like a manual milling machine, no g-code. I needed precise Z steps, achieved by setting the Z jog control to some increment, and needed continuous jogging on the X or Y axis to mill grooves. Trouble is, when you set jogging to be incremental (or continuous) on any axis, AXIS adopts that for all axes. So to do this simple job, requires a whole bunch of extra mouse clicking. Is this necessary? - could AXIS remember and apply individual jog settings for each axis?
