My MPG + m5i20 setup works the same as yours, i.e. machine continues to move after mpg-wheel is stopped if the feed-override is lower than 100%. When feed override is 100% my MPG works fine. So it seems this is an EMC issue which needs fixing! Is the way you use a low-pass filter documented in the wiki or in the manual ? I could try that some day.
