You can have whatever you want! There have been a few attempts to make a smaller distribution but none have caught on. EMC2 is Free software so you don't need anyone's permission to get what you want. "Why can't I have" is a question you never need to ask. If you want a custom install, have at it - build a realtime kernel and EMC2 from source, based on whatever install you like - there's nothing about EMC2 that requires Ubuntu. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
