Hi! I have currently installed my system with EMC2 and started to configure the HAL file. The setup works properly except for one thing: I have 3 separate home switches and 3 limits on the other side of the axes. The home switches are used only to determine the reference point as usually but I would like to use them as limit switches too. I added the corresponding signal and pin in the HAL file but it works contrary to how it should work: the HALMeter shows that signal is TRUE when there is no contact on the limit switch and drives FALSE when the limit switch closes. I used the following lines in the HAL file:
net home+limitX parport.0.pin-11-in => axis.0.neg-lim-sw-in Has anyone experienced similar thing yet? Is it possible to invert the signal for example? I would really apprechiate any kind of help!
