Let's see if i understood...

I must watch that .pin file to know where to connect encoders and pwmgen 
¿am i right?

(I know this is beyond my knowledge) If i disable a specific function on 
a pin and the pin becomes GPIO... ¿is this in any way usable?...¿or is 
just a "flag"?
