This wasn't real clear.  I cannot LIFT the entire tailstock myself, as 
one piece.  The upper part is a REAL strain, but I can just barely do it.
I've only had it off the machine one time, anyway, during the bed 
rebuild.  But, I can SLIDE the tailstock just fine.  If it has sat a 
long time, then it needs a good push the first time to get some fresh 
oil under it, then it glides nicely.
