I agree with that Dave, the manuals need a "disclaimer: This is correct to
the best of our knowledge for version x.x.x." on the cover page.

That said, and I haven't looked at adept yet, can I update my 2.2.8 to 2.3.2
on my kubuntu 6.06 install? This subject of circles has bit me on several
occasions and it would help me at times, a lot. Or should I just go ahead
and put the 8.04 LTS on that box, I have it installed on goat, and that newer
version of gnome I could learn to like. But the box 'goat' is too slow and
has latency problems of up to 2.5 milliseconds. 1 ghz athlon, 384 megs of
non interleaved memory.

I do have amanda generated backups of the /home, /etc & a couple of other
directories on 'shop' every night now, so what code I've written is not going
to be lost by the upgrade. But it would also stretch the upgrade effort out
over a couple of days too.

Whatever you all say.

Thanks.
