I do see it the same way as you outlined it now. I have had a steep learning 
day today. I should add, I am faliar with coding, so I know about the 
documentation issue. It has been suggested, that manuals should indicate the 
version it is referring to ("manual corresponding to emc2 version 2.x.y") 
somwhere at a prmnent location. It would have abbreviated my quest 
considerably. I do believe I am not alone with this and do no want it to be 
understand as a neg. crtic, but would love it to be understood as a look 
forward to avoid future confusion.

I think emc2 is a real great tool. I used to see others running $-code that was 
far less conistent and flexible. So I am very pleased with emc2 and would like 
to express my deep respect and thanks to all that have contributed for emc2 to 
be what it is now!!
