Thanks, Michael the problem is when I try to do this.
$ ./configure --enable-run-in-place --enable-simulator
I try installing this package
# apt-get install build-essential fakeroot git-core gitk git-gui
libgtk2.0-dev libgnomeprintui2.2-dev  \


     tk8.4-dev python2.4-dev python-numarray-ext libpth-dev bwidget
xlibmesa-gl-dev  \


     xlibmesa-glu-dev libreadline5-dev libxmu-dev python2.4-tk
After them the configure comand run good.
Now I can´t run this comand.
$ make

Hello, I wanth to make a control for a plasma cutting machina using the
emc2. I download the ubuntu iso cd and install on desktop for testing
with a montec pci card and servo dynamics analog driver with dc
servomotor. At this moment all work good.
 
I need make some modificactions to the axis, I download the emc2
programs from git but I can´t install on my notebook. Could any one tell
me wath libraries requiered be installed to compile the emc2.
