Why not use a simple physical switch to switch between the two? My probes are a RJ45 phone cable wire so I can switch probes easily since I have one for auto tool height probe mounted to my mill table and a probe with an alligator clip for testing the heights of aluminum stock.

But if EMC2 is no longer limited to only 4 digital outs, I have no problem using the mux component with a M64 line switching the mux between the two probes. > >> Is the number of >> digital output pins controllable by gcode hardcoded, or can it be >> increased through a setting somewhere? >> > > You can change it (the 2.3.0 release notes say so) > http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?action=browse&diff=3&id=Released > > I read that it was an INI parameter a few days ago, but I can't recall > where (or more importantly, what) > > Thanks! I can look through the docs to find out where the setting is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Throughout its 18-year history, RSA Conference consistently attracts the world's best and brightest in the field, creating opportunities for Conference attendees to learn about information security's most important issues through interactions with peers, luminaries and emerging and established companies. http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsaconf-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
