I'm having some trouble getting the 7i43 card working with the onboard parallel port of my computer. I'm suspecting that I don't have the EPP port of the 7i43 hooked up correctly. Anyone know if I use a female DSUB25 to 26 pin IDC like this one

I've got male to female 25 pin cables and gender changers, but I don't think that works properly since the pins need to be flipped left to right to be a male to male cable? (i.e. pin 1 is on the left on a male cable, but pin 1 is on the right on a female cable) What are other people using to hook up the EPP port?
