Gentlemen, I performed a new install of 10.04 Desktop. I then installed EMC2 using the shell script. I then downloaded the source with git and compiled. This install runs fine. I have had zero problems with it. I performed an upgrade from 9.1 to 10.04. I then installed EMC2 as in the prior example. I cannot make either the shell install or the source/compile install run. I haven't tried very hard but I don't seem to want to. If I need it to run I will do a new install of 10.04 and see how that goes. Just sharing my recent experience. HTH Stuart
