I would suggest using XYZ for one catch, ABC for the other catch (so
that A is parallel to X, B parallel to Y and C parallel to Z, or any
other way, so that You remember and create correct g-code for it) and
then You have UVW remaining for main Y and hydraulic and maybe
something else. Create INI file, where joints 3, 4 an 5 are linear
joints. I suppose that You would not need any additional work with
kinematics - trivkins seems totally fine to me.

I suspect that preview would not work and additional precaution not to
crash one catch into another (sorry, I do not really understand, how
they are meant to be located in respect of one to another and the rest
of machine).
