If it comes up often, perhaps EMC should be able to accommodate it?

Maybe an entry in the ini file to determine it?

It's not uncommon for A,B or C axis to be configured as linear axis
rather than angular axis. Some CAM programs can only output code on
rotary axis when they are configured as linear, poor I know, but very
common all the same.
