I've been using the 4pin XLR style connector for some time, which has a nice 
cable seal, locks nicely and handles several amps without getting warm.

Last year I found an alternative to the 'standard' 4 core screened cable which 
is a lot more flexible. Only an advantage where the motors are moving, which is 
the case with the Taig mills, and rotary tables on the bed, but also runs cold 
unlike some of the wires I've replaced on xylotex installations ... with the 
newer 3Nm motors in the same footprint, the full 4Amp drive is also more 
commonly usable today ;)
