Two more clues.

I can jog the 1 joint (y joint) at full speed with no errors and it moves
the correct distance. (in joint view)

and

I changed ferror n the ini from
FERROR = 0.05
MIN_FERROR = 0.01
to
FERROR = 0.5
MIN_FERROR = 0.1

and  I was able to run the speed faster like 140ipm (in world view).
Although I can still make it give joint errors if I click the + button
multiple times quickly to make it accelerate and decelerate quickly.

What does the ferror do?  I thought that was only used for encoders?
