I understand the question. I don't know the answer, and without a 2-motor gantry with encoders, I can't experiment. I am not sure that anybody has ever done it. I assume that you have both joints set up with the same HOME_SEQUENCE and with HOME_USE_INDEX = 1 for both sides? Do the encoder indices match? ie, with both encoders at the index, is the gantry square? What behaviour do you see when you attempt to home? -- atp The idea that there is no such thing as objective truth is, quite simply, wrong. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RSA(R) Conference 2012 Save $700 by Nov 18 Register now http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev1 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
