I agree with you Przemek, and I 've used it the same way---including 
translating foreign patents---but I'm saddened to think that the most 
likely result is that Babelfish will be whispering to me constantly 
about the millions waiting for me in various African bank accounts.

The US military found that pilots respond best to aural cockpit warnings 
when spoken in a female voice. That'll come in handy when Babelfish 
tells me about the latest opportunity to buy generic Viagra.
