Steppers. Servo's are way out of my budget's reach. I am retired, 77yo with SS and a little consulting once in a while for income. The worst latency I have seen was 7 u-s, obtained while in the process of firing up a copy of the IRC client, konversation. Mostly its in the sub 5 u-s range. Currently running a 20 u-s base_thread, but will likely raise that to 25 u- s for normal operations just to speed up the keyboard response. At 20 it is just detectably laggy.
