It does not really make sense, because kernel updates are strongly not
recommended - LinuxCNC will not accept any other kernel but the one it
is built on (the one that is installed as a part of LinuxCNC
installation).
This recommendation does not apply to users who actually understand
and know, how to rebuild LinuxCNC on different kernel versions or run
it on other but LTS releases and/or distributions. For me that is a
whole another universe...
