Zero is probably needed more often, but zero is very much easier to
type than the current value (which might or might not be visible under
the dialog).
I would think that a reasonable compromise would be the current value,
pre-highlighted so that typing zero over-types.

More exotic ideas might involve two entry boxes and two "submit" buttons...

While we are at it, I would prefer separate buttons for "tool table"
and "coordinate system" touch-off, rather than relying on my feeble
memory to select the correct option in the drop-down.
