I just read thru that, obviously your ebay foo is stronger than mine was. Thanks. No 7mm by anything, and that is the size I'll have to use for the larger section due to wall thickness considerations as the OD of the extension is 9.08mm, as big as I can get through the ball thrust washers I bought for this. I actually have a 7mm tap, it came in a Kobalt kit of metric taps and dies I bought a couple years ago. For some strange reason, all of that kit is odd sizes, but it will sure be handy this time. :) Back to bed now for a bit.
