It is, 1mm, but the other end is 32 tpi, so its nominally 25.4 to 32 for the diff. In any event it has now been used in the next shank, which is ATM getting it's OD reduced to within a thou or so of properly fitting the bearings. Once that is done and the end nuts threads cut again, then I make the screw IF I can find the specs for a T-30 bit. Not even wikipedia has that, and it appears the thing is proprietary or something. It is totally missing from my Machinery's Handbook #27. However I have not followed every link a google search spit out yet.
