You can buy many industrial adhesives in syringe form, and there are various mechanisms to push the glue out. Some just have the syringe fit into a sleeve with an O-ring at the back, others have a metal piston/plunger that pushes on the syringe's piston. Mounting this on a rod that fits in a collet should be simple.
