I have a couple of Pluto-P boards on my shelf that never got used. Now I
thought I should give them a try and build a DC servo based machine. I
have used steppers only so far.

LinuxCNC documentation says it would be possible to use the pluto-servo
firmware to connect to a L298. At a closer look it would be useful to
have both DIR and inverted DIR for each PWM channel. Only DIR and PWM is
output from the present version. Have done Quartus projects before so i
thought this was an easy fix modifying and recompiling the available
source file with Quartus II. So I downloaded and installed Quartus II
free web edition. Surprise! Quartus II 12.1 free does not support the
EP1K10 device.

Obviously EP1K10 has been supported before. Does anyone have an older
version that supports EP1K10?

(Of course the same thing can be done with an extra inverter chip but
maybe E-stop or something is affected then)
