If you're still looking for older versions of Quartus, I've been
designing with Altera FPGAs for the last 15+ years, and have versions
of Quartus and Max+Plus II going back ages. If you have a specific
version you need and can't find it online, let me know.

Altera does keep previous versions available on-line. The older stuff
used to be pretty well hidden, but now you can go to their download page:

https://www.altera.com/download/dnl-index.jsp

Select Quartus II Web Edition in the product category, and you can
pick the version you want going back to 3.0.

If you click through to the download page for a particular version,
you can look at the release notes, which lists which device(s) and
families are supported.

That said, I'm not sure *ANY* of the Quartus versions supported the
Acex 1K family, which is pretty old. You may need to grab one of the
Max+Plus II versions:

If the version online doesn't work for you, I probably have some older
(version 7.x to 9.x, IIRC) Max+ install CDs around I can probably dig
up if it would help you out.
