How about the Cubieboard for 49$ from http://cubieboard.org/ ?
It uses a Cortex-A8@1GHz (Allwinner A10 SoC with FPU and SIMD) with 1GB DDR3@480MHz and 4GB onboard flash memory. The other onboard goodies are HDMI 1080p, 100MBit network, USB host, 96 GPIO (with I2C, SPI, RS232, ADC, ...), uSD, OpenGL ES GPU, Sata II port, IR receiver. It runs Android and other linux distros without problems. I own one from the original indiegogo campaign (like kickstarter) but until now i had not much time to do something useful with it.
