I really agree with you, here.  These IRC chats are very hard to follow (and
due to some confusion on the time, I missed the last one, DARN!)  One 
advantage
of the IRC is there is a real-time log of everything said, however hard 
it is
to read.  There is, of course, a log of mailing list comments as well.
