Most definitely yes, because it is used in another machine with 7i39s.

Peter, I am in a bit of hurry at the moment, I will check those fault pins
hopefully in weekend and report back. It seems to me that it is very likely
to be the cause.

BTW you (and anyone using a 7I39/8I20) should upgrade to the latest BLDC component with John Kasunich's commutation lookahead patch. It should about halve the maximum commutation angle error (almost like doubling your servo thread rate)
