I use the HTML docs almost exclusively:

or, for the dev version:

The man pages you mention mainly exist for the realtime components
listed near the bottom (the stuff at the _very_ bottom is only useful
if you are actually writing HAL components).

The pages I most often visit there are G-Code Programming -> G-Code
Overview and Configuring LinuxCNC -> Configuration -> INI
Configuration.
