There is an Amish machine shop on the north side of Portland, IN that is 
all driven by hydraulics. There is a large diesel outback (semi truck 
size)  that drives a large hydraulic pump
that pressurizes an extensive piping system in the probably 10,000 sq ft 
shop to power all of the machines.

I would not want to pay their diesel bill.
