Yes, I know that limitation on the Beaglebone, so I do not expect to operate it with a higher resolution encoder (in fact, just one index mark fedding phase A and phase Z and using encoder.position-interpolated for spindle-revs). I would have the same doubts as you if the G76 and G33 did not work as expected. I am not really discussing the quality of threading (which might be better using a higher resolution encoder). My question was rather why G76 and G33 work fine and G95 not at all. Karl
