However, I'm not sure there is a 65 year old "nerd" or a "geek". I'll 
have to think on this one.
  One thing for sure, that micro mill I built works and does a great 
job, even if I did write all my software, built all my hardware, 
including every part in the mill and the electronics to power the servos 
from a thirty year old computer.
  I think this sounds more like a "nerd" rather than a "geek". Whatever 
it's considered, there really is not any money spent on this build 
except for the DB9 connectors used in the build. Danged near everything 
was just "stuff" I have accumulated over the years. Should I build 
another one, I would have to spend some money. I don't have the steel 
for the frame and base to build another one. I do have most of the 
little pieces needed. This thing is heavy with steel.
