After all world problems were solved in Paris recently, I wouldn't dare to bring something like that to Silly Valley, CA. Here it's OK for Zuckerbergs to run a megawat farm of computer servers that will be obsolete in 4 years, only to be replaced with machines that are spying on us ever more. It's not OK to power on a "heavy iron" now. That is a major cause of global warming and toaster police would come after me very soon. I see they started to enforce new laws already: http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/626749/Bradford-Toast-England-UK-Toast-Environment We are just a bit behind British but we have a fireplace police active during winter here in the SF Bay area. Burn wood in your fireplace on "scare the air day" and you go to jail or pay jizya to global nutz. It would simply be more cost effective and easier to _square_ a garage into a room and rent it out to 2 or more people on H-1B visa for $1500/mo or so than bring in "heavy iron", find a plug for 220V or 3-phase motor, and "turn parts" to make a living. As far as I can tell, hobby for little people is still OK. -- Rafael ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
