I had a Chinese migrant who worked for me here in New Zealand and her comment was, Aliexpress is just EBay. It is not a one big shop selling everything. It is many many sellers with their goods. Check their feedback first.
Best thing is when you receive the goods open a dispute and then let Aliexpress sort it out. I have always had a successful outcome. One time I kept the goods and got a full refund.
