Isn't he the guy who used to pour liquid oxygen on cheap BBQ grills? Light one briquette, set it atop the pile of charcoal in the grill. Pour LOX on (with a long handle on the container). Charcoal is instantly ready to cook over - as long as you don't mind crouching down because the cheap grille is now a pile of slag.

Some of his mixtures contain a lot of propane, so might not be great in a closed space that potentially could leak again. I sold him a semi-hermetic compressor that he used in a test rig to explore the oil return properties of his mixtures. So, they were apparently compatible with the motor winding insulation.
