1st comment, compared to the pi its at least 10x or more faster. 2nd comment, can I just change the sources.list line for master to stretch from the jessie version in /etc/apt? This for when I am ready to import the whole ~/linuxcnc tree.
Not ready to try it yet, by a couple days yet, that minimal stretch install (only 227 megs) turned out to be slightly buggy, and extremely malnourished, I'm still installing stuff I'm not even sure I need.
