I do have one question about this module just before I order one. Is the Debian LinuxCNC set up to _not_ use the 'hard drive' for any temp files? Over time it wouldn't take long to wear out the FLASH memory.
I understand that most of the folders that are used this way are generally created and maintained in RAM. They look as if they are on the hard drive when you look at the file directory structure but in fact there are indirect links that point to the RAM area. It normally takes a customized version of the OS to ensure that it's all RAM and only during shutdown is information written to the FLASH drive.
