Interestingly, Vectric's post-processor usually generates an arc using simple 
G1 commands to draw short straight lines to approximate the arc. Although it 
takes many lines to produce the same path as a single G2/3 command, I suppose 
it will work in place of all variants of the G2/3 commands used by different 
interpreters. It produces good arcs which are executed relatively quickly.
