That doesn't ring any bells here, Jon, What sort of stuff did they sell?
Tech Shop was a national chain of maker spaces. They had
basically the same stuff at all (10) locations,
mills, lathes, welders, routers, laser cutters, 3D printers,
embroidery machines, wood shop tools, etc. They ran classes
on how to use everything. We had a CNC Workshop at Tech
Shop Detroit (actually in Dearborn) for at least 3 years,
with a bit of emphases on LinuxCNC.
